Have you not considered, [O Muḥammad], how your Lord dealt with the companions of the elephant?

کیا تم نے دیکھا نہیں کیا حشر کیا تمہارے رب نے ان ہاتھی والوں کا ؟

Did He not make their plan into misguidance?

کیا اس نے ان کی تمام تدبیروں کو بےکار اور غیر موثر نہیں کردیا ؟

And He sent against them birds in flocks,

اور ان پر بھیج دیے ُ جھنڈ کے جھنڈ اڑتے ہوئے پرندوں کے۔

Striking them with stones of hard clay,

جو ان پر مارتے تھے کنکر کی پتھریاں۔

And He made them like eaten straw.

پھر اس نے کردیا ان کو کھائے ہوئے بھس کی طرح۔
