Al-Fatihah

In the name of Allāh, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

اللہ کے نام سے جو رحمان و رحیم ہے

[All] praise is [due] to Allāh, Lord of the worlds -

کل شکر اور کل ثنا اللہ کے لیے ہے جو تمام جہانوں کا پروردگار اور مالک ہے۔

The Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful,

بہت رحم فرمانے والا نہایت مہربان ہے

Sovereign of the Day of Recompense.

جزا و سزا کے دن کا مالک و مختار ہے۔

It is You we worship and You we ask for help.

ہم صرف تیری ہی بندگی کرتے ہیں اور کرتے رہیں گے اور ہم صرف تجھ ہی سے مدد چاہتے ہیں اور چاہتے رہیں گے۔

Guide us to the straight path -

(اے رب ہمارے !) ہمیں ہدایت بخش سیدھی راہ کی۔

The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have earned [Your] anger or of those who are astray.

راہ ان لوگوں کی جن پر تیرا انعام ہوا جو نہ تو مغضوب ہوئے اور نہ گمراہ۔
